2. Forum posting rules and guidelines

  1. All the forums are categorized by topics.  Please post your questions or messages in the appropriate forum.

  2. Give the post a MEANINGFUL TITLE, so that our readers do not waste their time reading posts about things, that they have no interest in. The content of the post should be clear from the title. Please be brief in the title of the post, but yet specific enough, so readers will know, if the post will be of interest to them.

  3. Please use your first name and not a "handle" or screen name. When choosing your posting name, do NOT use a "handle", but rather your REAL NAME or a variation of your real name. We ask that you do this in order to keep the friendly atmosphere of the forums intact. Posts with "handles" will be removed.

  4. DO NOT post in all upper case. IT IS LIKE YELLING. This goes for TITLES as well.

  5. DO NOT post a follow-up unless you have something to add to the original post.

  6. For your safety, please DO NOT post your telephone number or mailing address on the forums (exchange your contact information via email only).

  7. Forums members and reviewers retain copyright over the content they create. By submitting the content to the ForexRobotsPRO.Com website, they grant us a worldwide, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, prepare derivative works, publish, translate, and distribute that content in any existing or future media. Forums members and reviewers also grant ForexRobotsPRO.Com the right to sub-license these rights, and the right to bring action for infringement of these rights.

  8. If your post includes text, images, or other copyrighted content, there should be a clear reference to the original source. It’s bad etiquette to leave the original source open to interpretation and can appear as if you’re attempting to trick others into believing you're the author.

  9. Try to refrain from using ALL CAPS, when posting on the forum, as it's considered to be shouting in most online venues.

  10. If a topic is posted in a forum that is not appropriate for the question, the staff has the right to move that topic to another better suited forum.

  11. Please refrain from posting the same question in several forums. There is normally one forum, which is most suitable in which to post your question.

  12. All posts should be professional and courteous. You have every right to disagree with your fellow community members and explain your perspective. However, you are not free to attack, degrade, insult, or otherwise belittle them or the quality of this community. It does not matter what title or power you hold in these forums, you are expected to obey this rule.

  13. Any material, which constitutes defamation, harassment, or abuse is strictly prohibited. Material that is sexually or otherwise obscene, racist, or otherwise overly discriminatory is not permitted on these forums. This includes user pictures.

  3. Must Not have any HTML Style Attributes - Links should not use HTML to add style attributes to the link, URL, or anchor text link description. E.g. Authors are not allowed to add bold or italics tags around their links. These style attributes do not increase the SEO effectiveness of the link and are visually distracting to the reader.

3.3 Website and Landing Page Content:

  1. Adult Content - Refrain from including links to adult-oriented websites, including but not limited to websites that include pornography, images of sex toys, or other adult-oriented sexual content.

  2. Under Construction - Any URL you provide for the reader should be fully-functional. Do not link to websites, that are under construction. To provide a positive user experience, any websites you link to from your article must be active and have content.

  3. Relevancy - Link pages must be relevant to the article topic. All links included with your article MUST provide the reader further value to the article. Further value can include (but is not limited to) a third-party analysis, an invitation to sign up for a newsletter concerning the topic of the article, or a blog with more content relevant to the article's topic. Websites should not consist primarily of advertising or use more than one exit pop-up.

  4. Quality Metric - All links should result in a positive experience for the reader. Provide links to websites with user-friendly navigation and quality content. A quality landing page builds your relationship with the reader. Links cannot direct readers to landing pages mainly comprised of advertisements and/or auction items.

  8. Unethical or Questionable URLs - We do not knowingly allow any URLs that are banned by Google or which engage in questionable SEO practices.

  9. Automated Link Checker and Malware Links - Avoid frustrating your readers by always linking to site that work. Broken links and links that bring up a Malware warning provide a poor user experience for readers, so test and re-test your links prior to submitting your article.

  10. Linking to Other Pages on ForexRobotsPRO.com - If you are writing articles in a series, you may provide easy navigation between articles by linking from one article to another. You can include links to other Forexrobotspro.com articles if they are in the same series as the article being linked from. This allows for easy access to other articles in the same series and results in a positive user experience.

4. Anchor text link rules and guidelines

Any use of anchor text links to websites, that you own should add value to the article topic rather than being included only for SEO purposes

4.1 Number of Anchor Text Allowed – You may include a maximum of two anchor texts per Article or a Post at all time.

  • Articles with fewer than 700 words should have no more than 1 (one) anchor per Article or a Post.

We reserve the right to modify the anchor text and link target URL, if we find them promotional, irrelevant or inappropriate.

4.2 Number of Words Allowed - Please limit your anchor text link length to three words of anchor text per link. Articles with fewer than 700 words should have no more than three words of anchor text.

  • Common words are excluded from this word count. Those include: a, an, and, at, by, for, in, is, it, of, on, or, the, to. If a common word is repeated a second time, it is then counted towards the five (3) total allowed.

  • Company names or location names with more than one word are counted as ONE word in anchor text. E.g.: Each of these cities would be counted as one word: New York, Hong Kong, Buenos Aires, and Rio de Janeiro.

4.3 Transparency - All effort should be made to preserve transparency for the reader. Anchor text CANNOT be used to mask the true destination of the link or mislead the reader as to the content found on the URL. Use your links and anchor text to build trust with your readership.

E.g.: Do NOT use anchor text such as "Find more about cats here" if the content of the link is horses.

E.g.: Anchor text that is used to mask an affiliate link will not be allowed.

Posting links in order to generate affiliate commissions is not permitted at ForexRobotsPRO.Com. Any posts that are deemed to be posted to generate affiliate commissions, regardless of the product being promoted, will be deleted. If a user continues to create affiliate SPAM posts, they will be banned.

4.4 Adjacent Links Must be Clearly Separated - Make it clear to the reader, that you are offering them two different sites to visit! Whenever two links are placed side-by-side separate them with punctuation or a line break to avoid making them look like one long string of anchor text.
